Why is my credit/debit card payment being declined?

Unlike other payment methods, the credit card option has a very strict anti-fraud system. We have an obligation to our credit card processor, Stripe, to do everything we can to prevent fraudulent charges. To achieve this we utilize multiple anti-fraud systems and continuously add new methods to prevent and monitor fraud.

 To  successfully pay with a credit card you must meet these following requirements:

  • No VPN/Proxy (Allowed if successfully authenticated using 3D Secure)
  • No disposable email (Allowed if successfully authenticated using 3D Secure)
  • Billing address must be correct

Note: All payments will go through 3D secure as required by the Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) regulations.
