Regex allows you to fill in an unknown parts of the query based on set conditions.

We won't go over all the details of using regex in this article. However you can Google for guides as regex is used worldwide.  

Here are some pointers to get you started:

  • The . represents a wildcard, this will fill in the space with any character
    • Example: a.
  • {x} represents the number of characters. (Replace x with a number)
    • Example: a.{1}
  • {x, y} represents the a range of the number of characters. (Replace x and y with numbers)
    • Example: a.{1,3}
  • Make sure to escape periods with a backslash
    • Example: a.{3}@weleakinfo\.com
